Hopping onto "The Lisbon Tale" Train by Your Friend Esteves: Album Review

Don't you just love albums that engulf you into a story? The guy who brought you Into the City continues the saga with The Lisbon Tale. Unlike that single that was released about a year ago Your Friend Esteves is embracing a mix of styles that remind me of Muse and The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band". I love how the synths that were used in this album aren't too hard hitting and give an airy feel that helps guide you through each song and each journey. From heading Into the City which was about a new start to life and love it seems finally in Footsteps the character finds a crush to dream about and hopefully will pursue that love interest. On Saturday's Gone it seems like the character finally got that love interest but is struggling with having to make a living by working and making friends, but he's reassuring his love that he'll always return. I don't want to spoil the rest of the story so it seems like you're going to have to take a listen!
