Define Love.....365 by Zedd and Katy Perry
Zedd did a great job producing this hit about obsession for Katy Perry, using the classic clockwork back beat that you can hear in most of his previous work. Zedd also uses the reggaeton style rhythm in order to stay current with the mainstream media love of dance music even when it's more of a somber song. To get down to the lyrics, it talks about how society is now obsessed with the perfect look or the perfect life, instead of taking a step back and really getting to know the real person and making a real connection. Another way to look at this is our yearning for lust, instead of digging into the values of the person, and that is why Katy Perry is portrayed as a robot. The supposedly perfect specimen, but in the end Zedd wasn't really able to connect to her.
